Through trial and error, rebranding and revamping, Dark Skies Demise was born in late 2024. The mission statement was to do as it was named: kill off dark skies (A.K.A. eliminate negativity). One extreme form of negativity that we strive to give serious attention to is the suppression of one’s true thoughts or feelings. That is why we find real beauty and power in self-expression through artwork and fashion; the pictures are worth thousands of words.

Here at Dark Skies Demise, we’ve teamed up with various artists, models, and creators to collaborate on statement pieces that capture a rougher, darker tone of streetwear. We’ve also enjoyed crossing different art styles to create unique pieces that give each garment more life and energy (such as crossing pop art with grunge). Our designs contain raw, brutal elements that not only contain deep emotion, but posterizes it aswell. The goal is to empower individuals through statement pieces that help them stand out from the crowd. The messages that they wear can inspire and challenge the thinking of others.

One such example is through our signature crosshair and 3 stars. It offers 2 meanings that can be interpreted differently depending on the viewer. On the positive side, one “shooting for the stars” carries the idea of working hard to accomplish big goals. However, the darker side of the same phrase may be to eliminate one’s source of light, darkening their skies, or having one’s own skies darkened. This message can serve as a warning to some and a memory to others. But the point is to continue to create, express, and benefit from the creative process! Which is why this is truly where dark skies die…
